VISION: Griffith Public Schools Food Service Department, working together, to deliver the nutritional building blocks for the foundation of student learning with outstanding service.
MISSION: To support the educational process and improve the health and well-being of every Griffith student by providing nutritious, wholesome, high quality meals in a friendly, courteous manner.
We invite all students to dine with us. Each meal provides "fuel for learning" that students need to make the most of their school experience."
Meal and Textbook Assistance Applications 2026/27 Online applications are available at this time.
All families wishing to receive assistance, unless otherwise notified by mail, must complete a new application each school year. All students attending Griffith Public Schools may be entered on one paper application and returned to any Griffith Public Schools office. Students are allowed to carry over the previous year's free or reduced eligibility into the new school year for 30 days. On the 31st day, all students without a new application on file will be changed to a PAID status and will need to pay for meals.
All Griffith Public Schools Offer a Healthy & Nutritious Breakfast Every Morning!
Breakfast starts 20 minutes before school begins in the cafeteria of each building.
